2016 Race Report

Race Route

French Line, QAA Line.

Unseasonal rains had soaked the desert in the lead up to the race.  The track was firm and fast and the daytime temperatures were cool, making the crossing easier for the riders.  Some of the lakes were impassable for the vehicles, resulting in course diversions around Poeppel’s Lake.  Sections of the track around Eyre Creek were boggy.
